Wissam Nassar, is a Palestinian photojournalist, was born and lives in the Gaza Strip. Covers the Israeli–Palestinian conflict for international agencies. His images are published in The New York Times, Al-Jazeera, The Times UK, Focus (Germany), Xinhua, and many other outlets. 2015 Pulitzer Prize Finalist in Breaking News Photography. Currently, works on the project about the after war life in Gaza and the smugglers’ tunnels on the Gaza–Egypt border for the Time magazine (US).

What is
happen?

The dad, Salem Saoody, was making bathtime fun for his daughter Layan and niece Shaymaa in Gaza. However, the tub was the only thing to have survived in their home – which had been almost completely razed to the ground Seemingly oblivious to the destruction around them, the two little girls splash about in the bath while their dad plays along. Despite everything they’d gone through, Salem still managed to make something simple and everyday fun for the young kids.
