Jamal and Muhammad al-Durrah are protecting themselves behind a concrete cylinder on a street because they are in the middle of a crossfire between the Palestinian and Israeli soldiers. Through the video, linked to the picture, we know that the child didn't survive. In that moment, Muhammad became a martyr and streets and parks were named on his honor.
